Goodpasture Christian School was preparing to celebrate its 50th year of living out its mission: “building confidence, intellectual growth, and spiritual strength.” As part of that celebration, a strategic planning committee was formed to evaluate where the school had come from, and where it was going for the next 50 years. Out of this discussion came the desire to better plan for the future by evaluating the physical campus, and how it might be better organized and planned to better serve the current and future needs.
Centric Architecture was commissioned to complete a thorough campus analysis, which then evolved into a Campus Master Plan for the next 50 years of Goodpasture Christian School. Key projects included a new middle school building, new gymnasium, new chapel/alumni hall, new athletic facilities, various additions and renovations, and enhanced landscape and creation of outdoor spaces which de-emphasize the vehicle in lieu of pedestrian and student-friendly outdoor Environments.
